My Maritime Journey

 

Though I discovered sailing later in life, it didn’t take long for it to become my driving passion:

After years of traveling across multiple countries and continents, I found myself—almost by accident—on a boat delivery across the Indian Ocean - and I was hooked.

Building a Legacy in Sailing Education

​

My husband and I established an RYA Training Center in South Africa, which became one of the country's leading sailing schools. We proudly supplied the Superyacht industry with qualified, motivated crew while nurturing our dream of cruising the world with our young children. After years of teaching, we finally packed up and set sail across the Atlantic to live our adventure.

A Dream Interrupted

In 2017, Saint Martin was hit by Hurricane Irma, our boat (and home) was severely damaged, and the pandemic in 2020 further halted our travels. Settling into stationary boat life on the island, we stayed active in the maritime world through yacht deliveries, racing, and related services, gaining invaluable insights into the evolving industry. Along the way both of our children became also part of the Super Yacht community.

With over 20 years in the maritime industry, I specialize in providing high-level administrative support to captains and crews. My experience spans complex tasks, from regulatory compliance to crew management, and I’m skilled at navigating challenges to keep operations running smoothly.

I'm also a bit of a perfectionist, so I do try my very best to deliver the results you expect.
